BORN TO BE...

It is a self-reflection on the formation of a person belonging to the Russian millennial generation, on Russian mentality and attitudes regarding war which, in one way or another have always been present.

This project is a retrospective on the events of the last 30 years in Russia, as well as a look at one's own life and an attempt to explain to oneself how time and place influence the shaping of identity, and attitudes to life and death.

Fragments of memories are used as narrative and the visual component plays a symbolic or documentary role.

The project uses texts, poems, photographs, drawings, videos and music by Daria Panteleeva as a perception of reality through different mediums.​​​​
